We invite you to join the International COVID-19 Data Alliance (ICODA) virtual Inaugural Forum on Thursday 19th November, 14:00-16:00 GMT.  We will be welcoming eminent speakers including Prof Martin Landray who is leading the RECOVERY Trial that identified dexamethasone as an effective treatment for COVID-19, our new Scientific Advisory Committee Co-chair, Prof Agnes Binagwaho from the University of Global Health Equity and former Rwandan Health Minister, our Ethics Advisory Committee Chair, Prof Effy Vayena from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Steve Kern from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Prof Andrew Morris from HDR UK.  We will also be launching a new opportunity to support and accelerate research projects with the goal of accelerating insights that will impact the trajectory of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The International COVID-19 Data Alliance (ICODA) was launched in July 2020 in response to the need for evidence-based decision making and collaboration across the scientific and research communities and policy makers around the world to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic. ICODA’s goal is to deliver a safe global platform for data access, use and analysis that respects confidentiality. This platform will offer researchers across the world necessary resources for the rapid advancement and discovery of solutions in the fight against the pandemic.

Please join us for the Forum to:

  • Hear about ICODA’s progress
