In order to build a trustworthy partnership, it is vital to ensure robust and transparent governance processes, with clear lines of accountability. The Alliance must be open to scrutiny across all its activities.
One of the key governance bodies that ICODA is establishing is the Ethics Advisory Committee (SAC). The EAC will provide high level advice to the Board on ethical and information governance issues that arise during the development and operation of the Alliance, helping to ensure that the Alliance has a trustworthy and transparent approach.

Professor Vayena is Chair of Bioethics, at the Swiss Institute of Technology (ETHZ) and renowned expert at the intersection of medicine, data, and ethics.
